Welcome to your portal for excellence in music education, performance, creation and leadership. In each of these domains, it is my great pleasure to collaborate with individuals and organizations to offer and deliver musical experiences that enhance lives and that create lasting value.  I am based in Kingston in Eastern Ontario.

teaching
My private music studio encompasses training in voice, piano, theory, composition and improvisation, all in a broad spectrum of musical styles—classical, jazz, folk, contemporary, global. A special interest in music as therapy is an integral part of my practice. NEW: Virtiual lessons via Zoom, Skype or FaceTime are also available.

performing
As a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, I delight in tailoring musical programmes and entertainment to the needs of your event (e.g., conferences, receptions, ceremonies), either as a soloist, or with my partner Margaret Moncrieff in our musical duo, SoundRings.

creating
Enthusiasm for composition and improvisation leads me to collaborate as a sound designer with productions of dance, drama, liturgy and visual art, in both structured and extemporized musical presentations, using both acoustic and digital media.

leading
Choral leadership and vocal coaching have been a passion of mine for many years, with experience in directing choirs and productions of musical theatre, in addition to festival adjudication.
